KNIT IS BACK

Get your mothers and grand mothers' knit out of the wardrobe, classic coming back since last year.

This season, knit will look young.

Those clothes warm the heart up, due to a manual treatment and a light and warm feeling. That's right.

But this season, knit is not a young and nostalgic vintage.

With a sportive style, thicker, bigger and chunky thread, it binds light colors with a simple style.

To begin with, what's the main reason for a knit come back ?

It's due to Alewander Wand, who cleverly showed a street style, and to designers who actively use sports-like material, like Jill Sanders, who add casual material to the original minimalism.

Alewander Wand showed mixed materials like silk and leather, distinctively tressed knit cape and hood jumper, which is more casual with added zipper as decoration.

Besides fluorescent ski clothes over trousers tight on the legs, there also is Jill Sanders' knit which matches with an aggressively colored top.

This makes a sportive feeling which happens to match the ski clothes.

The fact that it totally exploits knit structure, plays an important role in its vivacity.

Giambattista Valli's light red knit top shows a passionate feeling, more than other prints and Proenza Schouler's pattern game sensually shows knit structure.

Sonia Rikiel's knit dress, freely mixing checks and 'Agail' patterns, also shows a light feeling.

It's the same for printed knit, and plastic patterns which draw attention.

It's not weird if we compare to t-shirts which symbolize a feeling of liberty and youth through wonderful patterns.

So how can we suit up prettily with these modernized knits ?

Every designer has a different method, but they all have the same base : tall height.

This is not a style highlighting the tigh and womanly silhouettte, but it's comfortable, with a loose look, making think about a free traveller.

Dries Van Noten, who uses various prints, made a special feminity through a knit top with bulky leaves over a skirt with wonderful patterns.

Being a little longer than the body on lower parts with such wonderful prints, matching pullovers with simple colors, is more chic.

Missoni matches a long skirt very tigh like a hook shunt with light knit, and a top going down to the buttocks, but if we use a different knit thickness we get a more original effect.

Michael Kors' look, which make a soft pullover of Angola thread knit match with a shiny satin trouser, nicely hidding the legs, gives a very chic feeling.

That's a sensual harmony showing complementarity of beige and gold colors.

Therefore it's more chic to wear tigher trousers.

By the way, Stella McCartney, who makes clothes for cool women, representative of their time, using manly materials, matches a knit top with very long sleeves, hidding the hands, with a very large trouser.

Emphasizing big heights, it shows a height strategy in order to make the silhouette feel it.

Therefore it's better to wear more manly items such as Oxford shoes which emphasize manhood.

Then knit got modernized this season.
